About El Roi House
Safe, private apartments and homes for women escaping domestic abuse.
A woman who comes to us gets a furnished apartment of her own, in a secure location and no rent to pay, for up to two years. Her children stay with her. The address is never made public.
She works with one advocate the whole time — someone who helps with court dates, benefits, a job, and a place to go next. Counseling is available for her and her kids. Money from this campaign pays for the first apartments.
